Speed Networking & Etiquette

Join us for an informal Wedding Network meeting all about networking with your wedding industry peers! Melissa Peterman of the One Night Only Project will share how to make the most out of your next networking experience and offer some easy takeaways to put into your tool kit for the next time you are at a networking event. Topics will include making the most of your brand, networking etiquette, preparation and follow-up.

Bring your business cards and arrive promptly at 6:00 p.m. The meeting format will start with dinner, followed by Melissa's discussion, and we will end the night with speed networking!

Melissa Peterman
Co-Founder at One Night Only Project

Local Seattle native, Melissa Peterman has spent the last nine years as the face and brand ambassador representing startups and small businesses, most recently as the Northwest Community Manager of Townsquared, a social network for the small business community. Melissa is also the co-founder of her own business, the One Night Only Project, a pop-up restaurant series in Seattle since 2012.

Melissa feels that real trust and connections come from face to face interactions and is an passionate networker. For the past two years as a community builder for the Townsquared network, she successfully organized and oversaw more than 45 in-person events in the greater Seattle area and Portland, comprised of meet-ups, panel discussions and business themed workshops growing a network to 7k members.

Contributing Wedding Professionals


The in-house culinary team at the World Trade Center utilizes local, sustainable, and organic options along with regional foods that highlight the seasonal bounty of the Pacific Northwest. The incredible cuisine will complete the ultimate Seattle experience in our unforgettable waterfront setting.


There are 2 different options for parking:
  1. Art Institute Garage at 2323 Elliott Ave. Once parked begin walking across the sky bridge until you come to a sign and street elevator on your left (about 1/3 across the sky bridge). Take elevator down to Alaskan Way, proceed south along sidewalk then follow signs to enter World Trade Center. Parking rate is $8 after 5pm.
  2. Street Parking along Alaskan Way is $4 per hour.

If a ticket is cancelled, it can only be applied to a future meeting. The balance will remain on your account until you register for your next meeting with Wedding Network USA.
  • All Tickets:  An RSVP without payment is still considered an RSVP and you will be responsible for the full price of the ticket whether you attend or not.
