Marketing & Inclusivity!

How to get referred by planners - market to the unmarketable. Lilli will discuss what planners are looking for, what they want from a vendor, and what makes them keep coming back to the same vendors. She will discuss online presence, communication, networking, and what works and what doesn't. She'll talk about planners from the perspective of a vendor (she was a florist first!) and she'll talk about them from the perspective of a wedding planner serving premium wedding clients in Colorado's destination market.

How to be inclusive of all couples - gay, straight, or otherwise - in your business language, marketing and online presence. Lilli will discuss how to be more inclusive and capture that extensive same-sex and alternatively identifying wedding market! Tips, tricks, laws and kindness - This talk will be a great over-view and intro to how you should think about this awesome piece of the wedding pie.

Speaker:  Lilli Black

Owner, Sweetly Paired and Colorado Gay Weddings

Lilli Black owns Sweetly Paired - a Colorado wedding planning firm and Colorado Gay Weddings - an inclusive network of wedding pros who serve all clients. She and her team of wedding planners specialize in destination mountain weddings, but also work all over Colorado. Lilli's team focuses on guest experience in every aspect of the wedding planning process. They focus on impact to that experience with every decision that's made through the planning process. She has owned successful Colorado wedding businesses, including Bella Calla - an award-winning Colorado florist - which she sold in 2017 to focus on planning, event design, and public speaking. She and her team refer more than $30M in revenue to Colorado-based businesses from caterers to venues, photographers to make-up artists.

She is happy to be with Wedding Network to share insights on how to start getting and keeping those planner referrals in your portfolio. She is also excited to share tips and advice on how to be inclusive of all couples in your business' language, marketing, and online presence.
